A series of interviews with queer people talking about their lives and unique expression of queerness.
Joel Camp aka Earth Blessings is a plant wizard, chef-by-trade, bridge between worlds, and someone who identifies as pansexual. In this interview we chat about the emergence of his sexuality, the types of relationships he likes to have, the link between spirit work and sexual fluidity, and, obviously, plants.
Eva Oh is an international dominatrix, a clever cookie, and an absolute sweetheart who I’ve had the pleasure of getting to know since we met in Bali in 2020. She travels internationally working with clients doing 1:1 BDSM sessions, and runs an online platform for her worldwide community of slaves. She’s also an incredible human being, a philanthropist, an investor, a queer woman, and a good friend of mine. In this conversation we talk about her experience growing up queer, her experience as a sex worker, and her current dating situation. Trust me, it’s good one.
Kai Mata is a singer-songwriter known, in part, for her bold fight for LGBTQ+ rights in Indonesia. Despite the risk of being arrested for being so out there, she continues to put herself forward as a role model for younger queer people to look up to. I so admire her courage, and in this interview we talk about what it’s like in Indonesia for the LGBTQ+ community, her music, where and how she grew up, and what she would propose for Indonesia moving forward as a more inclusive nation.
